What can we say when God has been so faithful to us?

At Aurora Bible Centre, we have held 3 monhtly public lectures on Islam, and have seen tremendous changes on how people engage with Muslim neighbors. There has been great response in how people have related on such matters as relating with and working among people of different convictions than themselves in Mukuru Slums.

I have hosted various people who came to see me and spend time with me as friends, whic has made a whole lot of difference to my social well-being.

Below was our last training of the year where we had over 100 people in attendance who have been equiped for evangelism and discipleship in the Njenga area, over 20 people have come to Jesus.

At Reuben, CTC Church training pastors on how to do discipleship. over 80 pastors and leaders were equiped over a period of two weeks.

Personally I have had fun moments and so is our college by impacting the lives of many as well as allowing others to minister to me.

We have trained more than 200 people in the past three months and are glad to announce that next year we target more than a 1000 people from all walks of life. Our ministry in the slum area is in need of funding as we totally depend on donations from well-wishers to access the areas.

We are looking to building a permanent institution where we can send some of the pastors to a full-time training. May God speak to the right people to donate the 30000M US$ we need to develop this institution.

If you are looking for places to volunteer and do ministry in Africa, then you just found one at Aurora. We have need for volunteers to train on short-term and long-term basis.

We are looking for 500 Bibles to donate to the people who have come to know Jesus in the regions of Mukuru, and also those we are discipling. Swahili would be the preferred translations of the Bibles.

We also look forward to meeting the felt needs of the communities that we minister to in the townships (slums) since as they preach Christ, they need to feed. We have tried to meet these needs but it is overwhelming. This far, the Lord has brought us. Big thanks to Pastor David Masiga for hosting us at Mukuru Kayaba, Pastor Maurice Odhiambo for hosting us at Mukuru kwa Reuben together with Bishop Rose, and lastly Bishop Buluma and pastor Nyangweso of Mukuru Kwa Njenga. Without these pastors our efforts in the region would have been fruitless.
